Review: Brightcove Makes Professional Online Video Publishing And Distribution A Reality
This one goes in the horn tooting category.
"Overall, Brightcove appears to me as the premier choice for online video publishing and distribution. No other service comes close to the integrated array of features and facilities that Brightcove as put together so far."
Robin Good has written the most detailed third-party review we've yet seen of the Brightcove service. It's gratifying to see someone really get their hands dirty with player design and customization, and Brightcove's online syndication capabilities. There are many ways to simply post and share a video on the Web - Brightcove is about helping people build comprehensive and multifaceted Internet TV businesses. Mr. Good captures this well.
Enough of my jabbering - please read on.......

BTW..one thing I'd like to point out..I've an extension installed in Firefox that disallows javascript by default.
As a result of this when I try viewing a page that has brightcove media embedded all I see is a blank page. It'd be nice if you could detect the availability of js and return a user friendly message instead.

Brightcove offers the best online video features and services. But the syndication service needs to be less automated. Because, I have received conflicting e-mails on syndication requests being approved and denied on the same day.
How can you send an e-mail notification with the confirmation of the approval of a syndication request and hours later send another e-mail saying syndication request was denied or not approved?
Another contradicting e-mail notification is on the location of websites.
What determines the location of a site?
The location of the webmaster/webmanager or the location of the ISP?
I am blogging from Bonny Island in the Gulf of Guinea and my ISP is located in the UK and Blogger is owned by Google, an American company.
So, where is the location of my website?
The Newsroom shares revenues from adverts with blogs and websites syndicating videos and has an excellent support service.
I advise Brightcove to evaluate syndication requests for blogs or websites manually before sending out e-mail notifications.
Well done and God bless.
