Last night marked the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards and yet another fantastic show that was packed full of the top celebrities on TV today. What's even better (for us at least!) is that in addition to the always entertaining live broadcast, this year the Emmys website also featured up-to-the-minute video clips and highlights from the show using the Brightcove platform. The Emmys team also put together a series of videos highlighting the behind the scenes work that goes into producing such a high profile event each year. Interviews with various producers and product designers provide visitors to the site with an insiders look at how various elements of the show are created.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which is the organization behind the Emmys, has been a Brightcove customer for several years and we are extremely proud to support their efforts as they continue to expand their online video initiatives.
