Lime & Oh! Baby

Today in the New York Times, Saul Hansell profiled Lime, "a media company devoted to new-age lifestyle programs on subjects like organic food, hybrid cars and alternative medicine," that is majority owned by Steve Case.

Mr. Case has a broader strategy through his investment firm Revolution Partners and is concentrating on the healthy living market.

"Healthy living is a trend that is becoming more mainstream, and we can create a brand that unites a fragmented category" Mr. Case said. "Second, the ideal of building a next-generation network was intriguing to me."

In addition to Lime, the NYT piece mentions Oh! Baby, a broadband channel from Oxygen targeting parents and their young children.

Brightcove is thankful that we have the opportunity to help empower both these companies to create "next-generation networks" and provide both companies the service required to build direct to consumer Internet TV destinations that create broad and valuable distribution.
