The Brightcove Closed Captioning player can help make your video experience more accessible to people who are hearing impaired, or broaden your audience globally. Brightcove Professional Services will customize and implement a "bottom third" transparent overlay at the bottom of your video window that automatically displays subtitles, in the language of your choice, for your videos. Captions can be stored on any Internet-accessible system, making for smooth coordination with a transcription service such as dotSub working in parallel.
What's included?
- Setup and configuration of closed captioning on a player of choice
- Consultation with your transcription service to setup production process

I agree that making subtitles/CC a pro only feature is short-sighted. It is also such a simple thing to accomplish. As another comment pointed out, JWPlayer does it for free. Much of the world is multilingual these days. You are missing out on more business.
I have to agree with the previous user. Putting the ability to have multilingual subtitles only in the pro packages is a deal breaker. Only the biggest companies can afford the pro prices and captions are a feature some people with a multilingual audience really need.
We have a pro account and I don't see how to add a Closed Captioning player. Thanks!
I am looking at your services and one of the things I find missing is Closed Captioning. I notice that you are "including: it in a Pro Package but is that really necessary?
The inclusion of a simple XML caption formatted file seems trivial. There are current players on the market (JWPlayer comes to mind) that give this feature away for free (for those of us who know how to create a captioning file).
Other than the lack of a CC feature I find your product superior in all ways and would love to recommend to the team that we move in this direction but this CC issue is a fairly large sticking point.
Is there any plan to include a generic CC Player feature without the needs of a Pro Services fee?
