Congrats to our friends at VEVO for launching this week. While it may be popular to bash the labels, it's been my experience that some of the biggest innovation around monetization, advanced features and business models have come from our partners in the music industry.
While some plans don't always work out (think PressPlay, MusicNet), the folks we work with are always willing to take risks and try something new. VEVO looks great, the video selection is growing quickly and despite conventional wisdom I think it's a smart bet for the labels.
