We are very excited to announce that Virgin Media, one the UK's leading entertainment and communications companies, has chosen the Brightcove platform to expand video programming across its website properties. Building on the success of Virgin Media Television's video-rich LIVING website, Virgin Media is now rolling out additional Brightcove-powered online video destinations, including Virginmedia.com, which is home to a wide range of news, sports, music and entertainment content.

Commenting on the Brightcove partnership, Virgin Media's executive director of TV and Online, Alex Green, said: "We're putting Virginmedia.com at the heart of our entertainment line-up with the recent launch of our music video on demand service and our new gamming site. Brightcove will help us deliver a fantastic video experience for all our visitors as we bring more and more content online."

Virgin Media joins a fast-growing list of UK broadcast customers which includes ITV, Channel 4, Five, Turner Broadcasting, UKTV, and BSkyB.
