We are very excited to announce a new deal with News Corp.'s Fox International Channels enabling its many media brands to use the Brightcove platform for online video initiatives. The first major new initiative to launch under the deal is Mundo Fox, a VOD portal opeated by Fox Latin American Channels that features more than 800 hours of ad-supported clips and full-length show, including 24, Family Guy, Burn Notice, My Name is earl and The Simpsons. The video is available dubbed or subtitled in Spanish or Portuguese.
Earlier this week, Fox Entertainment Group’s mobile business launched its first-ever commercial iPhone application for its popular show “Family Guy.” The app was launched in collaboration with Brightcove, Rhythm New Media, a Brightcove Alliance Partner, and Sideshow, an interactive agency.
Fox has just rolled out an all new Internet TV channel for their hit animated comedy series, Family Guy. Now you can access classic clips, musical numbers, and full episodes online. Brightcove's APIs were used to customize the look and feel of the Internet video experience, integrating the player into the official Family Guy website and giving the online community an exiting new opportunity to access the television programming. We are thrilled to announce that Brightcove and Fox Entertainment Group (FEG) have entered a company-wide agreement enabling Fox's broadcast, cable and studio programmers to use the Brightcove Internet TV service to launch ad-supported Internet video channels on their websites, as well as consumer media campaigns.
