Brightcove Outperforms over 80 Online Video Platforms According to Frost & Sullivan

For the second year in a row, Brightcove has received the Global Market Share Leadership Award for online video platforms by global market research firm Frost & Sullivan. Brightcove was recognized for our Video Cloud online video platform’s leadership position in the market and technology excellence compared to more than 80 other online video platforms, as well as for our focus on innovation and growth on a global scale.

The Frost & Sullivan Global Market Share Leadership Award for online video platforms is presented annually to the organization that has achieved measurable success by capturing the highest market share within the industry.

Not only did Video Cloud outperform more than 80 other platforms, Frost & Sullivan wrote in its report on the award that Video Cloud is "the benchmark solution against which all other vendors and products are compared," and that "the OVP market looks to Brightcove for definition, direction and best practices." That is high praise, which we are honored to accept!

Frost & Sullivan attributes our “top marks” to our commitment to technology excellence and innovation. We are extremely dedicated to both, so it is a great feeling to be recognized for success in those arenas. Frost & Sullivan also noted our breadth of capabilities and our global reach as being unmatched in the industry.

We are extremely honored to receive this award from Frost & Sullivan, as it is a testament to our hard work in establishing and defining the online video platform category and our continued innovation and leadership position in the market. The online video platform space has evolved significantly since we launched in 2004, but the fact that both content producers and consumers expect a high-quality viewing experience remains the same. As our capabilities have expanded, and our customers’ digital media needs become more intricate, our focus continues to center on delivering the highest quality user experience possible to viewers on every screen.
